Siloli desert Bolivia

Siloli is a desert in southwestern Bolivia, located in the department of Potosí. Administratively, it is located within the municipality of San Pablo de Lípez in the Province of Sud Lípez. It is characterized by its rock formations product of the strong winds that the region presents. The desert is considered one of the driest in the world1 due to the low rainfall that occurs in the area. It is usually part of tourist routes, since it is the gateway to the Eduardo Abaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve. In its surroundings are the colored lagoons as well as the Great Salar de Uyuni. It is located at an average height of 4500 meters above sea level.
